Mountain Black Bear Hunting
Black bear hunts at Big Sky Guide and Outfitters offers the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of spring greenery or the vibrant fall foliage in the Bridger mountains of Montana.
Our area boasts a robust black bear population, including a notable proportion of color phase bears. The day begins with a good breakfast before setting out to scout for bears. Following the hunt, our cook prepares supper, and you can enjoy a restful night's sleep in our warm bunkhouse.
During late spring, you'll encounter bears still sporting their winter coats. Late September or early October can produce some of the larger bears, as they are actively bulking up for the winter season. Our bear hunts at priced at $3,000.
For successful bear hunters, bear summer sausage is highly recommend.
