Deer Hunting in the Bridger Mountains
Big Sky Guide and Outfitters offers both mule deer and whitetail Hunts. Our deer hunts occur during the regular rifle season in October and November. The bucks are typically in rut, roaming the mountains in search of a hot doe. A good snowstorm can really energize the bucks.
Our deer hunts span 5 days and include meals, lodging, and transportation while at the camp. The ratio is 1 guide for every two clients, with a cost of $3000 excluding the license fee. These hunts can also be combined with a regular bull elk hunt if a hunter secures a big game combo license. All Montana deer combo tags are by draw only, and hunters are advised to acquire a preference point one year in advance to improve their chances. An outfitter preference point can also be obtained during the application year.
